Are We There Yet?
The logo for our 45th says it all. Sitting in the Quad on that sunny Sunday in June, 1963, who among us could have imagined how totally the world would change by the time we were planning to return to Northampton for our 45th Reunion.
As the last class of the 50’s, we are the class that bridged the 50’s and 60’s; we were on the leading edge of the changing roles for women. Our journeys since we left Smith have taken us in many different and often unexpected directions. Is the journey over? Are we there yet? I don’t think so. And I hope that wherever on that journey you are, on whatever path you have chosen, you are planning a trip to Northampton to join other members of the Class of ’63 to share your experience, to enjoy the memories and, most of all, to have a good time. Come back….and make our 45th Reunion the best yet!
