Classmates’ News

Wendy Caesar-Dare

Six years ago, our son Chris moved to Curacao (where??) “for a year”; he is now married to a marvelous woman from the island and seems to be settling in there.

I graduated from a 5-year movement training called Spacial Dynamics and joined the next class that was offered — it’s use it or lose it at this age, right? And I was having too much fun to quit! Being retired, I have the leisure time to go to Mississippi to help rebuild after Katrina (twice), substitute in local kindergardens, take on environmental issues, attend my ever-expanding gardens.

David and I enjoy English Country Dancing and this year the annual Spring Ball happens to be on my birthday — I refer to it as My Birthday Ball and plan to revel in every minute. Today I read in the Spring Alumnae Quarterly that Clare has been taking the training with the Chalice of Repose Project. That blew me away — I had hoped to do it, too, but the last time I talked with the woman who heads it, it had stopped, at least temporarily, and I had heard no word of it since.
